Plans approved to change former city bank space to cafe use
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Permission has been granted to change the use of a former bank on Eyre Square to coffee shop, subject to nine conditions.
Receivers of Shancar Developments Michael McAteer and Paul McCann have been given the go-ahead to make changes of use at Number 19 Eyre Square, a former Bank of Ireland branch.
Of the conditions attached, one stipulates that the premises operate as a coffee shop only and not as a fast food takeaway.
The opening hours are also restricted to 8am to 11pm unless otherwise agreed with the local authority.
