Plans approved for Bushypark pastoral centre

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Plans for a pastoral centre in Bushypark have been given the go-ahead subject to 12 conditions.
St. James Parish Council plan to build a pastoral centre and effluent treatment plant at St. James’ Church and Cemetery on Ballagh Road.
The works also include replacing front brick piers and rails with stonework planters, carpark layout revisions, and a public notice board sign.
Of the 12 conditions attached, one states that the stone used on the front boundary is the match the existing stone and that the roof is to be blue or black in colour.
Landscaping is also to be complete within three months of the centre’s construction.
An order has also been made that no work commence until adequate protection measures are implemented for the treess to be retained onsite.
