PLANNING BOARD APPROVES MOYLOUGH RESOURCE CENTRE

An Bord Pleanala has approved plans for a new resource centre in Moylough.

The application from Moylough Resource Enterprise Ltd had been given conditional go-ahead by county planners last August but was later appealed.

The plans provide for a change of use of the existing dwelling house in Moylough More to resource centre building and all associated works.

The project has been given approval with three revised conditions.

These include the provision of revised drawings to show compliance with the works permitted in a bid to preserve the architectural amenity of Moylough Parochial House and to allow for the possibility of future conversion back to residential use.
