PLANNERS APPROVE AIRSTRIP IN DUNMORE

Land in Dunmore has been cleared for use as a private airstrip, despite being previously refused by county planners.

An Bord Pleanala is allowing a privately owned agricultural field in the townland of Carrowntryla be used by a family member to land their aircraft.

Applicant John Reddington plans to use the field owned by his brother Michael to land his own private aircraft.
