Pier Nineteen to play Roisin

The 2fm 2morrowtourcomes to the Róisín Dubh on Monday, November 19 and Galway band Pier Nineteen have been chosen to join the bill, alongside Dave Geraghty and the up-and-coming Ham Sandwich.

It’s a welcome return for one of the best local bands to emerge in recent years.

Pier Nineteen are Keith Mullins (vocals/guitar), Colm Clancy (keyboards), David Clancy (lead guitar) and Brian Caffrey (drums).

Last year they released At Evensong, an accomplished collection of heartfelt songs.

The process of making their debut on a tight budget began in Kenny Ralph’s Sunstreet Studios in Tuam.

“We recorded the drums in two days in Kenny’s and then we came out and we’d loads of other stuff to record: guitars, keyboards-all the other bits and bobs,” remembers Caffrey.
