PHARMACY DISPUTE LEAVES CONNEMARA PATIENTS FACING ROUND TRIP TO GALWAY

Medical card prescription holders in Clifden are facing a round trip to Galway or Castlebar to get prescriptions as a result of the dispute between the HSE and pharmacists.

Both pharmacists in Clifden have withdrawn from the community drug and medical card scheme in protest over cuts to fees they’re paid for dispensing medicine.
