Perm State Ballet presents Giselle

The Tchaikovsky Perm State Ballet of Russia will return to Galway from November 6-10 to perform the classic work, Giselle.

The Perm is universally recognised as one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world. Since the company first visit to Galway in 1996, it has wowed and charmed audiences here with stunning displays of classical Russian ballet.

For this year, in a show that is exclusive to Galway’s Town Hall Theatre, the dancers will perform Giselle – the story of an innocent peasant girl betrayed in love.

Visually captivating and hauntingly beautiful, Giselle is one of the world’s favourite romantic ballets and this production, which is suitable for all ages, will combine superb dancers with glorious costumes and stunning sets.

It will be staged at 8pm nightly from Wednesday, November 6 to Sunday, November 10 and there is a matinee on Saturday, November 9 at 3pm,
