Patients Council to advise hospital board on key issues
Galway bay fm newsroom – Patients of Galway’s public hospitals are being encouraged to step forward and become part of a new patients’ council.
The initiative was announced last evening at the Galway Roscommon Hospital Board’s first public meeting by the Head of Nursing and Midwifery, Colette Cowan.

The Council will advise the board on service development and aspects relating specifically to patient care.
People will be invited to apply for voluntary posts from next month.
