Parents of missing American student return to Galway

The family of an American man who went missing in Italy four years ago will visit Galway this week in an effort to track his movements in Ireland.

Matt Mullaney from Massachusetts went missing while in Florence in February 2003 but there have been several sightings of the man since in Ireland, one of them in Galway.

The man, who is in his mid-twenties, had been in an Irish pub in Florence with friends the night he went missing but his family believe he may be alive and well and working in bars all over Ireland.
