PAPERS PUBLISH PHOTO OF STUDENT TO AID MURDER INVESTIGATION

All of today’s papers have published a photo of murdered Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo in an effort to jog people’s memories

Gardaí are hoping it will prompt more witnesses to come forward with information that might lead to the capture of her killer

In a statement issued last evening Gardai said they’re satisfied the investigation into Manuela’s death is progressing satisfactorily.

They’re hoping a photo of the 17-year old published in today’s papers will encourage witnesses to come forward and help them trace the teenagers last steps.

They’ve confirmed that no one has yet been brought in for questioning.
