Pacey Parsons helps Irish women thrash hapless Wales

TAKE your pick: The Ballinasloe bullet or the Ballinasloe bomber.
Either way, Beibhinn Parsons is the Irish flyer on the wing who scorched Wales in the Women’s Six Nations at Cardiff Arms Park last Saturday.
Within 15 minutes, the Galway teenager had touched down for two tries – the first a brilliant individual effort – as Ireland routed their hosts on a 45-0 score-line.
Though Parsons grabbed the headlines, two other Galway players on the team – hooker Cliodhna Moloney and long-serving back row Claire Molloy – also contributed strongly to Ireland’s big win.
Next up for the ‘girls in green’ is a home clash against France at Donnybrook on Saturday provided the fixture overcomes Covid quarantine restrictions.
