OWNER ORDERED TO REBUILD CITY HOUSE

The owner of a terraced house in Shantalla in the city has been ordered to rebuild it after it was knocked without planning permission.

The owner of the house at 1 Carrick Road had planning permission to knock a side extension and build another one.

However, local residents were shocked yesterday when they discovered the house had been totally demolished, while Cllr Colette Connolly says she’s disgusted.
