OWNER OF CITY ADULT CINEMA CALLED TO COURT AGAIN

A District Court judge has granted Galway City Council permission to have the owner of an adult sex cinema brought before the court on Thursday to give reasons why he should not be held in contempt of court.

City Council solicitor, Robert Meehan, applied to have John Kelleher, c/o Jade Winters, Liosban Industrial Estate, Tuam Road, brought before the court on Thursday.

Mr. Kelleher must now show why he should not be committed to prison for his contempt, following his refusal to comply with an order issued by the court on June 4th, directing him to close the adult cinema.
