Investors have shown an “overwhelming” level of interest in a series of properties set to go under the hammer in Galway next month.

The O’Donnellan & Joyce Auction of up to 70 properties has already attracted interest from investors outside Galway.

Auction Co-ordinator Anne Harding said: “These properties have attracted exceptional interest not only locally but throughout the country.

“I’ve been overwhelmed with the reaction, particularly from investors outside Galway looking to acquire residential investments within close proximity of the university and the city centre.

“Buyers are looking to acquire properties around Galway City, where you are guaranteed to get a strong rental income and future growth,” she said.
