OVERCROWDING EASES AT UHG

Serious overcrowding at the Emergency Department of UHG is beginning to ease.

At its height yesterday, 34 people were on trollies at the Hospital’s A & E and Medical Assessment units.

Almost half of these patients have now been treated, according to figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
