OVER A MILLION EUROS TO UPGRADE CONNEMARA PIERS

There’s been a funding boost of 1.1 millon euro for four piers in Connemara

900,000 euro has been allocated for on-shore works, a gear store and workshop at Rossaveal pier

Doonlaughan pier has been allocated 75,000 for repair to the pier and it’s access road

The pier at Bunowen will receive funds of over 71, 000 euro for underpinning work and installation of safety utilities

75,000 euro will be spent on Wallace Quay to repair the pier, build a new slipway and access road.
