OVER €1 MILLION EXTRA ALLOCATED TO GALWAY AIRPORT

There’s good news for Galway Airport today as the Government is providing it with a further €1.2 million in funding.

Galway West T.D and Minister, Éamon Ó Cuív has confirmed the funds as part of the Core Airport Management Operation Expenditure Subvention.

The subvention is paid to regional airports to cover the day-to-day costs of running the airport.

Minister Ó Cuív says the money provided today will ensure the viability of the airport in Carnmore.
