Connacht out half Jack Carty who delivered a Man of the Match display in their thumping PRO14 win over Leinster at the RDS on Saturday.

HE has been cut loose by Head Coach Andy Farrell and Ireland, but Jack Carty bounced back in the best possible way at the RDS on Saturday night.
In inspiring Connacht to a first away victory over Leinster since 2002 and ending the PRO14 champions’ unbeaten league run of 26 games, the Athlone native made a compelling statement to be recalled to the Irish set-up.
Apart from scoring two diverse opening-half tries, Carty also finished with a match total of 25 points in Connacht’s thumping win over Leo Cullen’s shell-shocked charges.
The Man of the Match was the driving force in Connacht carrying the fight to Leinster who slumped to an unexpected 35-24 defeat – their first of the season.
Carty and Connacht will be keen to back up that mighty display when they host Munster at the Sportsground on Saturday in the next round of PRO14 action.
