OSLO HOTEL IN SALTHILL TO BE KNOCKED DESPITE APPEAL

A bid to stop the demolition of the Oslo Hotel in Salthill and replace it with a mixed use development has failed
Dominck Lydon had been given the go ahead to knock the hotel, bar and niteclub and replace it with apartments a restuarant and shop
However this decision by City Planners was appealled to An Bord Pleanála in an attempt to block the development but the Board has allowed part of the plans to go ahead
