ORAL HEARING ON CONNEMARA GREENWAY PROJECT UNDERWAY

Galway County Council is today presenting its case for planning permission for a cycle and walking route between Oughterard and Clifden.

The route proposed is over 51 kilometres in length and most of it will follow the old Connemara railway line.

The Bord Pleanala oral hearing on the route opened in the Clifden Station House hotel this morning.
