One-stop shop will inspire you with new look for your home
More than 100 exhibitors will attend the Home Improvement Show in Leisureland this weekend.
Organisers expect more than 6,000 people through the doors and that around €500,000 in business will be done over Saturday and Sunday at the show.
The show will feature stands from over 100 of Ireland’s most talented design professionals, furniture providers, and home improvement suppliers.
Organiser Denise O’Shaughnessy said: “We have premium designers, craftsmen, and fit-out specialists, all of the major home build products and services, from heating and insulation to lighting and security, as well as all of the latest interiors trends and accessories on show.
“Exhibitors are coming from the UK, Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork and Donegal, as well as the surrounding counties, to be part of an exciting weekend of style advice and practical design and build solutions.
“Based on previous years’ shows, the organisers estimate over €500,000 in business will be done over the weekend.”
Lots of practical hands-on demonstrations and advice from leading experts is part of the great appeal of the Home Improvement Show. Interior Design tips and simple styling will be available from Galway’s own Niamh O’Donovan of Simple Styling.
“Styling your home does not have to cost a fortune. Sometimes simple planning or creative adjustments can transform your house into a beautiful home. Most often we just need a choice or change of paint colour, some fresh soft furnishings and some fabulous accessories.
“Simple Styling is that fresh pair of eyes that can recreate a more stylish space for you working with what you may already have while advising on simple stylish new pieces,” she said,
Consultations with her can be booked on arrival at the show, on a ‘first-come’ basis, so arriving early is recommended.
For garden design advice, Michael O’Reilly of The Garden Design Shop is hosting free clinics for the weekend. The award-winning garden and landscape design company, which has won prizes at Chelsea Flower Show, is dedicated to the creation of beautiful garden spaces, from the smallest city terrace to large properties.
