ONE PERSON STILL CRITICAL AFTER HEADFORD CRASH

One person is in a critical condition in hospital this evening, as a result of a crash near Headford today [tues nov 18]

A van and a car collided around 11 o’clock at Maus Reevagh, four miles on the Galway side of Headford.

There were two men travelling in the van, and two women and a man travelling in the car at the time of the crash.

Two of the people travelling in the car – a front seat passenger and a back seat passenger, a man and a woman were the more seriously injured

They were both critical for a time, but the condition of one has since improved and is described as stable
