ONE PERSON HOSPITALISED AFTER CLAREGALWAY CRASH

One person was taken to hospital after a crash on the N17 this morning.

The two car collision happened shortly before 8 o’clock at Lydon’s of Knockdoe near Claregalway.

Gardai say the person was taken by ambulance to hospital in Galway but their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Two units of Tuam fire brigade attended the scene for a short time.
