ONE MAN DEAD AND ONE PERSON STABLE AFTER GORT CRASH

Gardaí are to carry out a detailed technical examination of a crash near Gort in which one man was killed early today [13/2]

The two car colllision occured near the turn off to Shanaglish on the Gort to Crusheen road.

Gardai, the fire brigade and emergency services attended the scene of the crash on the N18 near Shanaglish.

The male driver of one of the cars was killed in the crash, while the driver of the second car is in a stable condition at Univeristy Hospital Galway.
