ONE HUNDRED JOBS UNDER THREAT IN THE CITY

Insurance firm Churchill is reviewing its operations in Galway, where more than 100 people are employed in Ballybrit.

According to the Sunday Business Post the review comes as the firm’s parent company, Royal Bank of Scotland seeks to cut costs.

Informed sources say the move could result in major layoffs or even the closure of the Galway customer service centre.
