ONE FIFTH OF WOMEN IN COUNTY STAY AT HOME

Almost one fifth of women living in the county are choosing to take care of home and family over the workplace.

CSO figures also confirm that a significantly higher number of women than men across the city and county are choosing the stay at home role.

The recently published figures also reveal that over 5, 700 men and women in the county and over 2,100 men and women in the city are unable to work because of permanent sickness or disability.
