ONE FATALITY FOLLOWING PORTUMNA ROAD CRASH

One person has died following a two vehicle collision outside Portumna.

Six others have been taken to hospital.

The incident occured at around half past eleven this morning on the road between Killimor and Portumna.

One person has been pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services and three units of the fire brigade are currently attending the crash.

The road between Killimor and Portumna is now closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
