ONE ARREST IN MAJOR DRUGS SEIZURE IN MENLOUGH

A Chinese national in his late twenties is still being questioned at Mill Street garda station this morning in connection with a major drugs seizure in East Galway

He was arrested yesterday (tues jun 19) after Gardai recovered 640 thousand euro worth of cannabis plants at a house in Clove Wood, Derrylissane in Menlough

The 800 cannabis plants were in various stages of growth and were discovered in a planned operation investigating the illegal cultivation of cannabis
