Date Published: {J}
Sell-out tours, Top 10 hit singles, a Top 20 album, a Meteor Award and the ‘Other Voices’ Viewers Choice Award are just some of the campaign highlights for Royseven, who play Monroe’s live on Thursday, August 11.
In the last five years, Royseven has performed to over 250,000 people at world renowned concerts and festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Rock AM Ring, Rock IM Park, Berlin Stars for Free, Oxegen, Marley Park, not to mention touring with Bryan Adams as his support act in Germany and Switzerland, World Cup fan festivals and two headline German tours.
During the Irish festival season, Royseven performed at a number of festivals this summer including Oxegen and headlining the second stage at Donegal’s Sea Sessions.
The band’s album launch show in March at The Academy 2, Dublin, sold out in less than two weeks, without the aid of any advertising. The band just had two further sold out shows in Dublin.
Royseven has just recently returned from another tour in Germany, when together with their own headline shows, the band guested with OneRepublic in front of over 30,000. This busy schedule together with TV shows and adverts featuring the band’s music signal the rise of Royseven in 2011.
Doors for this show are 9pm, tickets €10.
