Oliver Tennyson's exhibition will run until November 28.

A new exhibition will open at Kinvara Courthouse this evening, Friday. It’s the work of Oliver Tennyson, a member of the Kinvara Area Arts Group, KAVA

The show of painting and sculpture will run in the Courthouse space until Saturday, November 28, and will be open from 11am to 4pm daily.

Oliver describes the work as “a kaleidoscopic view of Ireland, the island we live on.  Ranging from mysticism, pagan origins, political upheavals, the work of poets and writers, its beauty and its scandals…”

His influences include painter Francis Bacon and sculptor Henry Moore among others and he describes his work as lying somewhere “between realism and surrealism, with a tendency towards abstraction”.
