OILFIELD OFF CONNEMARA A COMMERCIAL POSSIBILITY

Significant oil reserves in the Atlantic, 100 miles west of Connemara may again attract attention from oil prospectors and producers.

The area is known as the “Connemara Field”.

It had been thought in the past that the oil field would not be commercially successful, but speculation is mounting that it may be investigated.
