OCCUPY PROTESTORS TO RELOCATE FOR MARKET

The Occupy Galway protestors have agreed to a proposal to move their camp to another location to accomodate the Christmas market.

The group has engaged in a number of discussions with the market organisers to facilitate the event which is due to get underway later this month.

Up to 20 tents are pitched on a cordoned off area of the square since the protest began one month ago as part of a worldwide movement against corporate greed.

The group have now agreed to a proposal to move their camp near the bike rank to the left of the square.
