Objection to Tuam Road restaurant becoming betting office

Plans to change a restaurant at the Tuam road in the city into a betting office are facing opposition.

Emilie Linnane had been given planning approval to change the restaurant at The Trappers Inn into a bookies.

However, this decision has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.

It’s expected to make a decision before August.
