O’CUIV HAPPY WITH SUPPORT SO FAR IN LEADERSHIP BID

Galway West Deputy and Minister for Social Protection Eamon O’Cuiv says he’s happy with the level of support from Fianna Fáil TDs for his leadership bid so far.

Minister O’Cuiv declared his intention to run for the leadership yesterday evening, after Brian Cowen stood down.

Speaking to Galway Bay FM News today, Minister O’Cuiv, the grandson of the party’s founder Eamon De Valera, says the party needs to reconnect with the people.
