O CUIV GETS ADDITIONAL MINISTRY AS ELECTION DATE ANNOUNCED

Galway West TD Eamon O’Cuiv has been given a second ministerial portfolio as Taoiseach Brian Cowen announces March 11th as the election date

As well as his portfolio of Social Affairs Eamon o’Cuiv is now also the Minister for Defence, the post vacated by Clare TD Tony Killeen

Dept of Transport – Minister for Community and Gaeltacht Affairs Pat Carey

Dept of Justice – Minister for Agriculture Brendan Smith
