NURSES TO PROTEST AT UHG OVER WORK HOURS

Nurses from University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park hospital are protesting at UHG this lunchtime over work hours.

Their working week has yet to be cut to thirty seven and a half hours in line with the national deal.

The Irish Nurses Organisation is calling on the HSE to implement the reduced working week for its members in the West of the country.
