NUMBER OF PEOPLE SEEKING SOCIAL HOUSING DOUBLES IN GALWAY

The number of people looking for social housing has doubled since last year.

There are now over two thousand people waiting for housing compared to almost 11 hundred last year.

The figures were revealed at last evenings County Council Budget meeting.
