Health issues are the focus of this year’s second NUI Galway Social Marketing Conference which takes place tomorrow

Social marketing is the application of marketing concepts and techniques to achieve specific behavioural goals for a social good.

It’s already been used to successfully tackle issues such as obesity, smoking, cancer screening, recycling and road safety.
