NUIG moves up 22 places in world ranking table

Galway Bay fm newsroom – NUI Galway is one of three Irish universities to move up in a world ranking table.

The Newcastle campus has moved up 22 places in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2013-2014.

It’s now ranked 314th.

Dublin’s Trinity College has fallen nineteen places to 129th this year.

It remains our highest-ranked university but UCD has closed the gap and is up to 161st, while UCC is up to 276th.
