NUIG JUMPS UP LEAGUE OF WORLDS BEST UNIVERSITIES

NUIGalway is continuing to improve its status on the world stage.

The college has jumped 125 places in the newly published Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings, the highest leap of any Irish university.

It places NUIG among the top 250 universities in the world.

President, Dr. James Browne says this latest ranking for NUIG, which places it 243rd out of 621 colleges listed is excellent news.

Meanwhile, UCD has broken into the top 100 for the first time while Harvard has retained its position at the top of the table.
