NUIG COLLEGE WEEK STUDENTS COULD FACE EXPULSION

Authorities at NUIGalway are warning students that they could face expulsion for engaging in anti-social behaviour during ‘College Week’ formerly known as ‘Rag Week’, which began yesterday. [28/2]

Gardai were called to Dun na Coiribe student accomodation on the Headford Road after reports of disturbances.

No arrests were made but Galway Fire Brigade attended the scene to put out a bonfire.

Vice-President for Capital Projects at NUIG, Keith Warnock says students could face eviction from accommodation or expulsion.
