NUIG app to alleviate pressure at hospital emergency depts
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A free booking app developed by NUI Galway could help free up A and Es.
That’s according to the makers of the Helplink directory which means doctor, physio and leisure appointments can be booked 24 hours a day, seven days a week and in real time.
There’s also an option to avail of cancelled appointments.
The app for for iphones and androids will be officially launched tomorrow.
Managing director of Helplink, Lochlann Scott says the technology will help free up A&E departments for patients requiring treatment for minor injuries.
