NUI Galway to launch online Q and A service for new students
Galway Bay fm newsroom – NUI Galway is launching an online question and answer service to assist new students this September.
A team of trained staff will be available on the university’s website from September 1st to answer any questions students and their parents may have.
The online resource will run alongside a student telephone hotline and both services will run for two weeks after the first lectures begin on September 8th.
Meanwhile, the university is reminding students that a free iPoints smartphone app, which helps to calculate CAO points based on Leaving Cert grades – is available for download.
NUI Galway is expecting an intake of over 3,000 students this year, and admissions officer Stephen O’Dea says all first years can avail of support.
