NRA urged to meet Knockdoe locals over road redeisgn
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The National Roads Authority is being urged to immediately send a representative to meet with locals at Knockdoe, Claregalway to discuss the redesign of the road.
Traffic calming measures were put in place along the N17 at Knockdoe last year in an attempt to improve safety.
However concerns were subsequently raised about the safety of the measures.
The NRA agreed to carry out minor adjustments to the design of the traffic calming measures, which are currently underway.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm News, Councillor Jim Cuddy says the NRA must meet with locals now.
