Notices published for language plan for Connemara gaeltacht

Galway Bay fm news – The official language planning process has begun for parts of the Connemara gaeltacht and the Aran Islands.
Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley has published notices under the Gaeltacht Act 2012.
The Galway areas affected are An Cheathrú Rua and Ceantar na nOileán.
Organisations now have two months to apply to Údarás na Gaeltachta to be selected to prepare and implement a language plan in those areas.
