North-West MEP officially opens Ballinasloe Horse Fair

Galway Bay fm newsroom – North-West MEP Marian Harkin has officially opened the Ballinasloe Horse Fair and Festival.

The fair got underway yesterday, and an estimated 80,000 visitors will attend over the course of the nine day festival.

Speaking at the official opening today, MEP Harkin praised the groups involved in the running of the fair.
