NO TRANSPORT CUTS FOR GALWAY URGED

Cuts to transport services in Galway need to be considered in light of a population growth of 10%.

Galway East Fianna Fáil T.D, Micheál Kitt is calling on the Government to reconsider ceasing financial support for Galway Airport and to support the Western Rail Corridor.

Census data released last week shows that there has been a 10 percent population increase in the county in the past 5 years.
