NO PROBLEM WITH CITY BUILDING LEASE DESPITE RECEIVERSHIP

The Galway City Manager has reassured councillors that there is "no issue" with the lease of the Webworks building at the Fairgreen in the city.

It follows news that Workcast, the company which built the development, has gone into receivership.

At a meeting of Galway City Council this week City Manager Joe O’ Neill told councillors that the Council has had preliminary talks with the receiver.
