NO END IN SIGHT FOR CITY GRIDLOCK AS FUNDING PULLED

Motorists will have to put up with gridlock in the city for much longer due to budget cuts by the Department of Transport.

Councillor Billy Cameron says the Department has reduced the allocation for Regional and Local Roads by 2.1 million euro.

The Labour councillor says the cuts threaten the 14 million euro improvement scheme for the Séamus Quirke / Bishop O’ Donnell road
