NO ARRESTS FOLLOWING CITY BREAK IN

No arrests have been made following an aggravated burglary at an apartment in the city in the early hours of yesterday morning. (28/05)

Residents at Glan Nonin, on the College Road have been left traumatised, but uninjured in the incident which took place at around 1:30 am.

Several people were involved in the break-in at the apartment and cash and a number of items were taken.

Yesterday, the Gardai made door-to-door enquiries in the vicinity of where the incident took place.

A spokesperson for Galway Gardaí has confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
